There was a small yarding, both of fat and store stock to-day, and values showed a sharp advance. Store Sheep.—There was the smallest yarding of the season, prices advancing about 3s per head. Three-year steers, to £l3; cows, £9 10s; bulls, £l3 15s. Dairy Cattle. Anything with milking points sold readily. Fourth calvers to £24 10s; second and third calvers, £2O. Fat Pigs —There was a small entry and firm demand. Choppers, to £9 10s; light and baconers, £O, and heavy £8 12s 6d. BURNSIDE. Dunedin. July 7. There were moderate yardings of fat stock offered for sale at Burnslde to-day. All classes of stock realised high prices. Lambs were very dear. The price realised : per lb for lambs in the bare carcass was about lid. Fat cattle: Prime bullocks sold from £22 to £26 ,17s 6d; medium, £lB 103 to £2l; light and unfinished kinds, from £ls upwards.
