THE DOMINION SHOW.
j HAWERA'S POPULAR EXHIBITION. RECORD ATTENDANCES. The popularity of tho Dominion Show at Hawura is evidenced by the crowds that _ have thronged the spacious buildings every day and evening since the show opened. Qn Wednesday the takings were a record for any one day since the inception of the show, whilst yesterday there was another large at* tendance, people from Stratford and Eltham taking advantage of the halfholiday in their towns to visit the show. The motor hall and machinery hall and the trade displays attracted interested crowds, while the produce, home industries, fancy work, and schools exhibits were also well patronised. The side shows and salesmen all appeared to be doing satisfactory business. A feature of the show is the good catering, which is again controlled by the .Society. The president and secretary and other officials received many commendations on the excellent arrangements, which are a tribute to the organising ability of the secretary, Mr. L. 0. Hooker, and to the attention devoted to the Society's affairs by the president, Mr. D, J. Goodwin. t. The Show will continue again to-day and to-morrow.
