FIRE AT TAIHAPE, Taihape, Last Night. A fira occurred tnfe morning in the block of buildings .owned by C. O. Gibbs and occupied by Sherwin, stationer; o"Keefe, dentist; and Mrs. Drew's refreshment rooms.. O'Keefe's and Drew's premises were completely gutted, whilst Sherwin's stock was considerably damaged by smoke and water.
