Greeks landed at Kilid-bahr, reinforcing the Frenlfli garrison. The Turks were dejected, but accepted the situation with quiet dignity.—Times Service. Received July 2, 8 p.m. London, June 29. Constantinople messages report that a powerful British squadron visited Moudania on June 25 and landed a party of marines. They arrested several Nationalist leaders, including the harbor commandant and the Governor. The garrison fled on the Bight of the warships A proclamation wag read stating that the punitive action was due to breaches of the armistice, and the offensive attitude towards British officers.—Reuter Service. FIGHTING NEAR SMYRNA. TURKS CLAIM SUCCESS. Received July 2, 11.40 p.m. London, July 2. Constantinople reports that'the Sultan has received news that the Turks cap* tured Porgama, fifty-eight miles north of Smyrna, taking several thousand Greeks prisoner.
