NEW ZEALAND ASSOCIATION. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. At a meeting ok, the Council of the New Zealand Hacker Association, it was decided, In view of the lack of support and tho briefness of the proposed tour of a New South Wales team, not to arrange for a tour this season, but to keep the matter in view nest year. Challenges for the Nordon Cup were received from the Waikato and Whangarel Associations. The Wairarapa Association was granted affiliation. It was decided to inform the Taranaki Association that it was against the rules for a cldb to play the same players in two different teams. , Following Is the programme of Shield matches: Auckland v. Nelson, at Auckland. July 17; winners v. Hawke's Bay; winners v. Manawatu; winners v. Wanganul; winners r. Canterbury, and if possiblo Wellington.
