NEW PLYMOUTH RETURNS. The vital statistics for the New flymouth district for the month of June show increases ovelr the figures for the corresponding month last year* in ovary respect. The most remarkable' inefetue is in the number of marriage certificates issued, there being IB last month as compared with only four in June, 1919. * The following return of the number of births, deaths, and marriages for the district for the month of June and for the sii! months ended yesterday, has been issued by the registrar (Mr. J. 8. S. Talciftg the figures proportionately, it would seem that New Plymouth is increasing in population at a rapid rate.
