PERSIA'S PERIL.
ADVANCE OF BOLSHEVIKS. PERSIAN PREMIER RESIGNS. ■By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Delhi, June 20. A message from Teheran reports that the Persian Prime Minister has resigned office in view of the present crisis. An important deputation comprising all classes of Persians lias asked the Shah not to accept the resignation on account of the popularity of the Premier and the lack of a successor. The resignation of the Premier, who was the chief Persian author of the Anglo-Persian agreement following the ; departure of Major-General Sir Persy | Cox, would render the situation extremely critical if the Shah accepted the resignation. Kutehik Khan's revolutionary forces lave reached Mazandaran. He is credited with the intention of attempting to advance on Teheran' from Ma?andaran, thus avoiding the British troops at Tazvin.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
