EVERYBODY'S. BIG DOUBLE PROGRAMME THIS AFTERNOON AND TO-NIGHT. - At Everybody's this afternoon at 2, and again to-night dt 8, a big double programme,' will be screened. Olive Thomas stars in-a Triangle feature, "Toton," mid Jewel Carmen in a Fox feature, "The Bride of Fear." Dainty Olive Thomas is at her best in' a role calling for an elfin brand of saucy piquancy and youthful roguishnesfl. As "Toton," in the delightful French film romance of that name, she has a boy's part to play until the wheel of fortune spins her into her proper niche in the scheme of things, and she plays it with ,a droll impishness that endears her to the onlookers. Jewel Carmen gives a finished performance in a powerfully dramatic story, "The Bride of Fear," and there are also two other interesting pictures, one a Post Nature *fe»fc, and lan English Pathe Gazette. : I THE PEOPLE'S. .BIG DOUBLE BTLL TO-NIGHT. To-day's big new bill presents charming May Allison in Metro's latest comedy feature drama "The Uplifted," a comedy rich in spontaneous humor, and is the romance of a girl who chooses the "shackles" of matrimony rather than the freedom of Bohemia, The piece-de-re-sistance, however, is the big special fired feature by the Swedish Biograph .Company, entitled "The Flame of Life," a. remarkable chunk of life in the primitive, rough hewn from the lumber-camps of the backwoods of Finland. Beautiful scenes of rural life in Sweden are shown, also majestic views of tumbling rapids, ; rugged mountains and virgin forests. A vivid and powerful story of a woman's scorn and a man's redemption. He braved the rapids of death to win a smile from a woman's lips. The picture fca- , tures Lars Hanson and Edith Erastoff, of the Stockholm Royal Society of Artists This is the first Continental picture issued since the war, and was specially screened at Marlborough House by Roy- , al Command. "The Flame of Life" will 'also be shown.
