By Telegraph.—Press Association. Hastings, June 23. A largely attended meeting of trainers and jockeys was held last evening In tho Hawke's Bay Jockey Club's rooms, over sixty- being present, to discuss the circular letter issued to licensed trainers and jockejs by Sir George Clifford. In regard to the forming of a combined trainers' and jockeys' unregistered association, the following resolution was unanimously carried: "That the jockeys :;hould have an unregistered association atnonjst themselves, and be represented by a deputation of jockeys to the executive of the Racing Conference annually, or oftener, If required; that owners, breeders and trainers should form an association in each metropolitan centre, to meet together not less than six times a year: that a copy of all resolutions passed and business done at each meeting of each association to be sent to each of the other associations once a year, and delegates from each association to meet and arrange what suggestions or reques's are to be put before the Racing Conference and to appoint two delegates from amongst themselves to represent them at the conference; that delegates appointed bv the Hawke's Bay District Committee be requested, in event of licensing by the conference being carried at tho next meeting of the conference, to strongly oppose T>age 33, part 21, new rule
