[Stratford Bepresentatke: W. I. Wilson, Broadway North. Telephone 338.J MAGISTRATE'S COURT. Stratford, June 18. A sitting of the Magistrate's Court was held to-day j before Mr. T. A. B. Bailey, S.M. On the information of the police, D. G. Spencer was charged with driving a motor-cycle and side-car over a level crossing at a greater speed, than walking pace and failing to comply with the directions on the notice board: "Stop, look out for the engine."—A fine of 10s with costs 7s, was imposed. H. Luders, who was charged with grazing six cows on the roadside in Midhirst townships was convicted and ordered to pay costs 12s. tor allowing a horse to wander on Denbigh Road, A. E. Speck, who did not appear, was fined 15s costs 9s fid. M. T: Phillips, charged with allowing twenty-four head of cattle to graze on I the Stanley and Bcaconsfield Roads on June 4, was fined £l, costs 9s Od. Judgment for plaintiff by default was given as under: Farmers-- co-op. Organisation Society (Mr. Kay) v. F. 0. Franks, £7l 2a, costs £4 5s 6s; George Morrison (Mr. Elcoek) v. J. J. Ritchie, 15 4s 7d, costs £1 19s Od; A. J. Davev (Mr. Eleoek) v. Percy Clifton, £lO 14s, costs £1 10s Cd. GENERAL. At the Holy Trinity Church on Sunday morning, the soldiers'"memorial window will be unveiled by Major J. B. Hine. The window is an excellent production from the Raskin House, London, and will serve to commemorate the dedication of the :hurch, and to perpetuate the memory of the fallen in the great war. The figures representing Victory and Peace are beautifully produced and fitted on either side of the figure of Christ, and an appropriate inscription to the memory of those who fell in the late war is engraved at the base. The offertory at Sunday morning's service will go towards defraying the cost of the window. Rawles and Rawles have a unique window display of traced goods, showing some splendid examples of hand work.
