EVERYBODY'S. ' SESSUE HAYAIiAWA AND THE BECKETT-CARPENTIER FIGHT. Picture patrons will be delighted with the announcement in this issue of tha screening to-night and to-morrow at Everybody's of ''The Courageous Coward," the latest release in whicli the famous Japanese artist, Sessue Hayakawa, appears. To add further interest to the picture Hayakawa's wife, Tsuru Aoki, plays the woman lead, and she proves to be a wonderful little actress. Although the two leading characters are Japanese, all the scenes are laid in America, Hayakawa portraying a young Japanese who has made good in the States as a lawyer, and Aoki, his little Japanese sweetheart who has come to America to meet lier clever lover. ' As an added attraction to the programme there will be shown the sensational film of the Beckett-Carpentier fight for tha heavyweight championship of Europe, including a series of the two men in training quarters and one of Carpentier's secret trials. The programme also includes one of the most huomorous comedies shown here for years, entitled "The Simple Life."

THE PEOPLE'S. LAST NIGHT OF BERT LYTELL. Bert Lytell, who delighted patrons last night in his sterling Metro comedydrama, "One Thing at a Time O'Day," screens finally at the People's tonight. It is a gfipping story of the sawdust ring—a romance of the round tops, and is a delightful comedy of many emotions. The bill includes the latest gazette, comedy, and the opening episode of the famous mystery serial play, "The Strange Case of "Mary Page." BIG DOUBLE BILL TO-MORROW. To-morrow's change, commencing at the matinee at 2 p.m., will present delightful Bessie Love in a romantic story of adventure in the country, "Over the Garden Wall." The evening's bill will include another famous Fox superfeature, "Confession," starring beautiful Jewel Carmen. '"Confession" is *a thrilling story of a bride's dilemma and a badly-interrupted honeymoon. The couple are refused a suite at an hotel, and are compelled to sleep in armchairs in the lobby.
