MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

NEW PLYMOUTH CASES. A sitting of the Magistrate's Court was held at New Plymouth yesterday, Mr. T. A. B. Bailey, S.M., presiding. Robert H. Easton pleaded guilty to a charge of committing a breach of his prohibition order, in that he was found on licensed premises, to wit the R«d House Hotel, on May 25 , Sub-Inspector Hutton said the accused went into the hotel and was ordered out, but still remained. He had not bought any liquor, and was perfectly sober. Accused said he went into the hotel to see someone on business. The Magistrate advised him to send someone in for his friend next time. He convicted and discharged accused. Lena Drury, on a charge of failing to send a child to school regularly, was fined 5g without costs. On the information of Benjamin Tippins, Taranaki county inspector, the following fines were imposed for allowing stock to wander on the roads r —Robin Horace Phillips. 10s and costs 17s Od; Leo Clifton Gilbert, 10s and costs 17s Gd; Puke Niutireni, 10s and costs 22s Gd; Thomas Wipita, 10s and costs 22s 6d; Leo Sim, 10s and costs 17s fld; and Joseph Thomas, 10s and costs 17s Od. -
