FOG STOPS FERRY STEAMER. By Teleirraph. —l'ress Asr.ficlr.tion. Christchnrch, Lust Night. The ferry steamer YVahiiie is again hung up at Lyitclton to-night by a very heavy i'og. She was ready to sail for Wellington at 8.25 p.m., but it was impossible to get her outside the moles. At 10.10 p.m. there was no sign of the fog lifting. Later. At midnight, the Waliine was still at the wharf and there is no immediate prospect of her sailinc. The fog is still very dense. Captain Edwin, of the VVahine, and Captain Mareiel, Government Marine Superintendent, state tonight's fog is the heaviest experienced iu Lvttelton for many years. The Wahiue has a number of passengers to connect with the Paefic liner Marama, at Wellington.
