NAPIER SESSIONS. By Telegraph.—-Press Association. Napier, June 15. The Supreme Court opened, to-day, Mr. Justice Sim presiding. Elsie Cullen, for theft, was sentenced to three years probation, and Areata Tehka to the same term on a similar charge. Arthur George Kenney, for theft of goods, who stole because of hunger, was sentenced to five years' reformative treatment. Napier, Last Night. T. J. Levett was acquitted on a charge of assaulting a Maori by alleged stabbing. Alffed Colelnan was found not guilty of committing an indecent act in a railway carriage.
