The New* York World publishes a, telegram from Washington, stating that Mr. Marcellus Parsons and other pas* sengers on the Ventura telegraphed tq the State Department averting that Archbishop' Mannix failed to stand while "The ; Star Spangled wu played on "board the Ventura la Honolulu Harbor. It is understood tot matter is being investigated. Archbishop Mannix's vereion of the incident has not yet teen received.—Aun.-N-Z. Cable Assn. [A-ebbishop Minnix is one of Pa Valera'r lieutenants, and in company with "'the leader of the I'isji Republic," he has been visiting the United States. It was proposed that IX; Valera should visit Australia to raise funds for /the Sinn Fein Party, but it was recently announced that Archbishop Mannix would undertake the mission.]
