The next step in the matter will be taken on Monday evening, when the proposal will be discussed by the Borough CouncilThe Farmers' Co-op. Society attention to the sale of Mr. W. J. Bell's "Welwyn" herd of pedigree and grade Friesian cattle at Hawera on Monday. ■Tune 21. The herd comprises a lot of pedigree and grade Friesian cows in real good condition, having been fed on turnips for the past two mouths. They hold the very best records, that of this season being SOOlbs of butter-fat per cow. Farmers who require to add a few wellbred fat cattle to their herds are recommended to attend this stf"
