HOCKEY.
The senior championship in the North Tarnn.iki division (ladies) .opened on Saturday. In the gaimc between New Plymouth Technical College and Avoca, the latter were outplnved, tno Coliope scoring 13 Ron 1b to nil. The Old Girls-High School match was a imuch better contest, victory going to the former by 6 goals to 4.
