At Saturday's meeting of the Eltham' County Council, the chairman (Mr, C. J. Belcher) farewelled the engineer (Mr. RD. Tosswill), who has accepted a position with the Wanganui County Council, Mid expressed the satisfaction of the Council with the work done by Mr, Tosswillfts their engineer. Mr. Tosswill, in thanking the Council, expressed Mb willingness'to assist the Council in any matter that he could help them with in the future. The new e*_ineer (Mr. M, Fitzgerald) WM welcomed by the Council,
