PLANS FOR PALESTINE. London, May 30. Dr. Wiezmann, the Zionist leader, presided at the twenty-first conference of the English Zionist Federation in London, at which a resolution proposed by M. Sokolow and seconded by Lfird Rothschild was carried expressing gratitude at the Supreme Council's action regarding the future of Palestine. Dr. Wiezmann said that he was thankful that there were no gold mines or oil wells in Palestine, as the country would not afford attraction for Jewish or other international capita!, * but hational capital would be attracted. He added that the mandate provided political, economic, and social conditions which would enable the immigration of a large num!ber of people. Both Dr. Wiezmann and Lord Bothachild referred to the prospects of agricultural development, in which the Jews might set an example ,to the rest of the world.
