IMPROVEMENT KEEPING UPJ BRIGHT PROSPECTS TOR SPACE, By Telecriph.—Press Association Wellington, Last Night. The supply of shipping for frozen cargo from New Zealand has been extraordinarily good ever since the British (Government began to make its serious effort to take away from this country the accumulations of meat in cold stores. Tho Prime Minister sai dto-day that ever since the congestion in England wa« overcome thc_ supply of ships appeared to have been very good, and it was keeping up very well indeed. If the present rate should be sustained the quantity of mutton in the stores at the begin* ning of next season, or at the end of the calendar year, would certainly' nqt * be more than the estimated quantity ho had given to the conference of pro> ducers in Wellington some two weeks ago. That estimate was 2,500,000 car« cases, but some of the shipping men at the conference had said that they would be able to do better than this. It appeared now that they might da so. The ships in eight for June loading provide for 505,000 carcases, and for July loading 992,000 carcases. Thereare also a number of ships, eome ol which have already arrived, which are not included in this reckoning. They will take cargo also in June and July.
