RUNS SHORT OF COAL. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright Received June 7, 12.20 a.m. Sydney, June 6. The Havre, from Cunedin to Newcastle, reported by wireless on Saturday that she was short of coal, having only just sufficient to keep steerage way. She asked for assistance, and the tug Champion was dispatched from Sydney at 1.30 on Saturday with coalShe expects to pick up the Havre at 9 o'clock to-night, and will tow her to Newcastle.—Aus.-At*/.
