Reports from Warsaw state that the Polish armies are advancing victoriously between the Dvina and the upper Beresina, taking many prisoners. They repulsed Bolshevik attacks on a fortified position at Bzoevca, inflicting great loss, and forcing the enemy to retire in confusion The Poles captured two armored trains which had been bombarding Kryzepol, jn the Ukraine-—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Asso.
A BOLSHEVIK OFFENSIVE. UNIMPORTANT SUCCESS. Received June 7, 12.20 a.m. London, June 4. A general Bolshevik offensive has begun between the Pripet and the Dneiper. Advanced Polish posts were driven in, but hitherto the Bolshevik success has been unimportant.
