GOVERNMENT'S ANSWER WANTED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. At a special meeting of the Otago Educational Institute to-night, a resolution wds carried: "That this meeting of teachers of Otago, having regard to the long-promised increase of salary to teachers, and recognising the lack of finality and vagueness of the Government's promises, expresses its strongest indignation at the scant consideration given, and demands an immediate increase of 6ZJ per cent, on the salaries of January, 1915, failing which, it_ pledges itself to support its Institute in any measures the Institute may deem necessary."
