TO tJTHER WAR VETERANS. •' Bjf Ttlegraph.—Frett Association. Wellington, Last Night. An important decision was reached by the conference of the New Zealand Returned Soldiers' Association, when, on the recommendation of the Auckland branch, it was unanimously resolved that British veterans of former wars should be. admitted ag active members of Association. In support of the remit, it was urged that now the soldiers of the Great War had had an opportunity of being re- 1 patriated, it was only right that a eor-t dial welcome should be extended to the British veterans of other wars. _ Mr. E. F. Andrews (Auckland) Raidall South African veterans who were able had taken part in the Great War. There were veterans of other wars than the Great War who would be proud to wear the badge of the Association, and an opportunity should be accorded them to do so.
