ANCIENT ORDER FORESTERS.
DISTRICT OFFICERS MEETING. D.S.C.R. Bro. J. Andrews presided at the meeting of district officers held at X«!W Plymouth yesterday. \ D.W., Bro. V. Coleman, D.B. Bro. W. Draper, D.S. Bro. R J Tunbridge, and D.T. Bro. H. R. Cattlcy were also present. D.S.R. Bro. H. Ward was unavoidably absent. Reports were received from the various Courts regarding half-yearly nif-fting, and, after some discussion, it was resolved that as far as possible the district officers will be present. The dates of meetings are: Court Raleigh (Waitara), June 17; Inglewood, Juno 22; Court Taranaki (New Plymouth), Juno 23; Court Patea, June 24; Courts Stratford and Hawera, June 28; Courts Eltliam and Waireka (New Plymouth), June 30. Ihe half-yearly meeting of delegates will be held at Hawera on August 24. l-'ighteen maternity claims were received. A grant from the benevolent fund was made on behalf of a member of the order who has been an invalid for many years
