PRINCE IN AUSTRALIA. A GLIMPSE OF BUSH LIFE, By Telegraph.—Press Assa.—Copyright. Melbourne, June I.' The Prince is staying two days in the country. He spent Sunday with Mr. Hughes .and enjoyed an exhilarating gallop to Mr. Hughes' mountain home at Sassafras, incidentally halting for billy tea. The Prince was delighted with this aspect of Australian bush life. He visited Caulfield Military Hospital oil Monday, stopping at each bed to cheer the patients. One soldier asked if the Renown's hand could visit .the hospital, to which the Prince consented. His Royal Highness wais welcomed by, 6000 soldiers, sailors, and nurses, and presented with a golden noldier paperweight on a silver Australian map. The Prince, in condoling with tl|e bereaved, expressed his genuine delight at renewing his acquaintance with innumerable soldiers.
