AH other humorists born of the war pale into Insignificance beside Captain Bairns* father, the creator of Old Bill, 'Eft, and Aif, the three musketeers, #ho so typically represented types <rf British citizen soldiers who went forth to war with a song in their hearts, and jokes on their lips.
