WAR CRIMES.
GERMANY EVADING TRIALS. Received May 14, 8.45 p.m. Paris. May 13. The newspaper Excelsior interviewed Herr SehitFer (German Minister of Justice), who said the war criminal tribunal will not try military charges. The torpedoing of the Lusitania and similar crimes will be regarded as military crimes, if proved necessary, in a military sense.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
