COAL HELD UP.

STOPPAGE W TAUPIRI MINES. By Telegraph.—Press Association, Auckland, Lust Night. There was no work at the Taupirl coal mines to-day, the miners contending that there were not enough trucks for a full day's work, and that it wa* not worth while going underground for half a day. The railway authorities at Auckland state that 08 trucks were ready at the mines this morning, and that a sufficient number for a full day's output of coal would have been available before the afternoon.
