ICEBREAKER TO THE RESCUE. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received May 13, 12.45 a.m. London, May 12. The British icebreaker Sviatogor Is hurriedly preparing to go to Bergen to rescue the Solovoi, which is drifting westward in the Kara Sea.

The Sviatogor has recently been breaking up the boom protecting the harbor at Scapa Flow. Each hurdle weighed eighty tons, and the Sviatogor hurled herself against the barrier for two months until it was demolished The crew of the Solovoi abandoned their effort to reach land, and are awaiting expected rescue before the ice melts.
