FARMERS 1 CO-OP. REPORT. On Tuesday, 4th , at Waverley, we held a clearing sale on account of Lupton's Estate. Everything was without reserve, and we report a good sale. Mutton.—Mutton ia in small supply and drawing fair competition. Forward sheep for turnips are In strong demand. Store cattle.—Store cattle generally are dull although calves show an advancing tendency especially heifers. The same may be said of hbifers a year older. Store sheep.—Store ewes, unless in forward condition, are easier. Good lambs and wethers are still being sought after. Dairy cattle.—Reports from clearing sales throughout the district aro satisfactory. Dairy heifers hare, however, shown a marked decline which was not unexpected. It Is, nevertheless, fairly safe to predict that this is but temporary and that as soon as the surplus Hues notF offering have withdrawn, matters will again right themselves. Pipa—No class of stock has suffered more in the general descent thaji bacon pigs. There is a glut in all markets without immediate prospect of improvement.
