CONTROL OF SOLOMON ISLANDS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn—Copyright. Received May 8, 1.35 a.m. _. Sydney, May 7. The Methodist General Conference discussed the suggestion that the Solomon Islands district, including Rougalnwile and luika, should be transferred to the New Zealand Conference in 1021. The Rev. Lawry declared that if the Dominion was to accept financial responsibility, while the General Conference retained the larger slmre of the administration, New Zealand would say No, thank you." She would not accept responsibility without control. The debate was adjourned—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
