POWER IN UNION.
BRITISH LABOR ALLIANCE. By Teiejraph.—Press Assti—Copyright. Received May 7, 10.30 p.m. London, May fi. A conference of miners, railwaymen, and transporters in London decided not to extend the scope of Hie Triple Alliance. The decision followed on a long discussion on efforts by engineers and postal workers to secure membership. The leaders of the Alliance agreed that the possibilities of the big union idea were limited, and an enlargement of membership would only weaken the chances of the Alliance in a united strike action.— United Service.
