THE FAR EAST
ANGLO-JAPANESE. TREATY.
A DELICATE- SITUATION. By Telegraph.—rress Assn.—CopyTlght. Received May 8, 12.5 a.m. London, May <i. The Daily Express understands there will be considerable modifications in the renewed Anglo-Japanese Treaty, both countries considering these necessary. There is no anxiety in this connection, although the situation is a trifle delicate in view of the distrust on the part of America, Canada, and Australia regarding our Treaty obligations with Japan. —Aus.-NZ.
