WRECK OF A SCHOONER.
CREW OF FIFTEEN MISSING, By Telegraph.—Press Asm —Copyright. Received May 7, 7.30 p.m. Suva, May 7. An American schooner, believed to be the Defender, was wrecked on a reef between Oga And the Fulaga Lau group, rear Fiji. The crew of fifteen left the wreck in a local cutter two weeks ago, and have not since bees heard of. The master arrived at Lakoga Island on May 3 in a cutter and is now on his way to Suva. The Defender had a cargo of lumber Id tevukffAus.-N.Z. Cabl* Assn.
