A FARMER'S SUICIDE, By Telegraph.—Press Association, Auckland, May 0. '; Robert Gordon Bell, a single man, aged 27, a dairy farmer at Hungahunga, near Te Aroha, was found shot ceaa near his residence, with a guii alongside him. A FATAL ACCIDENT. Auckland, May 0. A patient at the mental hospital, Adolphus H. Morris, was killed by a fall believed to have occurred while he was attempting to escape through a window by the down pipe.
CHILD KILLED BY LOCOMOTIVE. Invercargill, May C. Mavis Green, four years of age, daughter of the railway porter at Edendale, Was run over by a locomotive. Death was instantaneous. The child had been ■sent on a message which necessitated its crossing the line.
