A Gazette extraordinary notifies that the following have been appointed to the Legislative Council in Western Samoa: The holders for the time being of the Chief Judgeship, Commissioner of Crown Estates, Treasurer and Secretary of Native Affairs with Messrs. Keeling, Tattersiill and Syddall- Colonel Tate has been appointed Administrator, and Mr. R. M'K. Watson Chief Judge. Other appointments are: Messrs. Woodward, Commissioner of the High Court; Mr. Cotton, Secretary of Native Affairs; Mr. Temient, Treasurer; Mr. Beaglehole, Director of Education; Mr. Carter, Chinese Commissioner; and Mr, J. C. Hill, Commissioner of Police.
