SECOND GRADE COMPETITION. At Bahotu, Star defeated the local first juniorß by 12 points to 3 after an interesting contest. In the first spoil Jenkins kicked a penalty goal, and Colemnn scored a try. whilst In the second spell Foy scored a try for Rahotu, whilst Jenkins kicked another goa.l. Falwasser scored a try for Rahotu. Mr. A. Walls refereed. APPOINTMENT OF REFEREES. The weekly meeting of the Referees' Association was held last night The secretary was Instructed to write to all clubs and state that the referees expenses must be paid on the ground, and that referees will not be appointed for further fixtures with any club that 13 In default.
