The following resolutions were passed at a mass meeting of railwaymen held at the workshops last evening:— (1) This meeting of representatives of the railwaymen strongly urges upon the Government tn deal with the cost of living, and effectually with exploiters, thereby keeping prices down to a minimum. Failing this all workers are urged to press for an automatic increase of wages. (2) This meeting of railwaymen notices with pleasure the Board'of Trade notice in the daily papers the restrictions on prices while the strike is on, showing clearly that if prices can be controlled during a strike, why not during times of peace?
