INTERVIEW ARRANGED. - By Telegraph. —Press Association. Wellington, May 1. Local members of Parliament have intervened in postal telegraph matters. Messrs. Newman, Mitchell and Field attended the meeting yesterday, and afterwards arranged for an interview with Messrs. Mnssey and C'oatcs when the latter retyrns next week. [Press messages reporting meetings of protest, at which resolutions were passed on similar lines to those at other meetings last week, were received last night from Dunedin, Greymouth, Oamaru and Napier.] eg . .
