NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. A bogey handicap will bo played on the New Plymouth Club's links on Saturday. Entries close with the secretary (Mr. J. Austin) at 0 p.m. to-morrow. The committee have decided, owing to the number of now members Joining, nnd also with the Idea or developing a good fellowship in the club and helping the Junior members a lons, that on every second competition day, the competitors entering will be classifled according to handicap, and those of the lower handicap will be drawn against those of the higher. In other competitions, Including the Standish Cup, competitors may choose their own opponents. Members are earnestly requested to enter for all competitions, and help to develop enthusiasm In club affairs generally. On payment of 12s 6d In advance, members will be entered for all competitions
