MORE HUNGER STRIKERS. SCENE AT LONDON PRISON. Bi Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright, Received April 26, 7.15 p.m. London, April 25. One hundred and fifty Irish prisoners in Wormwood Scrubs prison demand their release. The majority have been hunger striking since Wednesday. One has already been released and sent to a nursing home owing to heart trouble, and others sue reported to be reaching a state of collapse. Members of the Irish Self-Determina-tion League of Great Britain decided to repeat the scenes outside Mount Joy prison at Wormwood Scrubs. Seven thousand sympathisers representing eighteen branches assembled with three bands of Irish pipers, carrying Republican flags. A priest recited the Rosary in Irish. The crowd cheered when handkerchiefs were waved from windows, which were answered by cheers from inside. Later, flames were seen inside the prison and it was rumored that the Sinn Itinera were setting fire to their blankets. Every head in the crowd was uncovered wlicn the Irish pipers played "God Sa,vo Ireland." The prisoners inside joined in singing "The Wearing of the Green." There Wt-ro no disorders.

FAITH IN GUERILLA WARFARE.
Received April 2G, 2 p.m. London, April 25. The Sunday Times says Sinn Fein now controls about 200,000 fighters. They believe increasing guerilla warfare will wear down the Government' resistance.

. CONSTABLES MURDERED. London, April 24. Constable McCarthy was waylaid at Clonakilty (County Cork) and fatally phot. ' Lord French sailed for England. He was strongly guarded. Constable Swanton was wounded whilst proceeding homewards at Ennis, County Clare on Saturday night. One bullet passed through his left thigh and another passed along the breast of his tunic, but inflicted no wound. Three men have been arrested. A. large variy of armed men at Innisnannon (Cork) ambushed three constable on patrol duty. They fired a volley without warning, shooting Sergeant Croan in the heart, and blowing off part of Constable McGoldrick's head. The third constable- escaped.—Aus-N.Z. Cable Assn.
