THE JOCKEYS' DISPUTE.
I NO ACTION BEFORE JUNE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The jockeys' dispute was before the Conciliation Council to-day. oe taken ,by the association, cither directly or indirectly, to prevent any jockey riding at the Royal race meeting. The Jockeys' Association agreed that the association would do its utmost to prevent any trouble, and as far as the jockeys were concerned the meeting would be carried out successfully. As to the dispute between the' horseowners and the jockeys, this will be heard in Wellington on June 10th. A deputation of jockeys subsequently waited on Mr. Massey, who said he would do his utmost to assist the men to obtain their legitimate rights. SPLIT IN ThFraNKS. . Auckland, Last Night. J. he jockeys who resigned from the New Zealand Jockeys' Association at Palmeraton North on Thursday have ad dressed the following letter to the sec retary of the Association:—"We beg utender our resignations as members of the Association.
