INDENTURED SYSTEM OPPOSED. By Telegraph.—Press. Association. Westport, Last Night. Mr. H. E. Holland, M.P. for Uniler, delivered an address on the Parliamentary tflip to Samoa, before a fairly large gathering in the Theatre Royal to-night. At the conclusion it was unanimously resolved: "That this meeting of citizens of Westport endorses the aetion of Mr, Holland, M.P. for Hi. lor, in making independent investigation in Samoa and Fiji; and also places on record its hearty approval of the policy of the New Zealand Labor Party in opposing a continuance of indentured Chinese or other coolie labor in Western Samoa."
