WAR MEDALS.
EXPECTED IN A FEW MONTHS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, April 20. The Base Records are now preparing rolls for the issue of British "war and Victory medals when they arrive, so that there will lie as little delay as possible in getting tlicm out. " The majority of the 1014-15 stars have already been forward-1 and medals are to be issued to the next-of-kin of deceased soldiers, who are urged to keep the Base Piecords advised as to changes of address. Memorial plaques and scrolls are also to be presented to legal next-of-kin of all soldiers who lost their Jives during the war, the memorial to be accompanied by a letter from the King.
