Received April 19, 3 p.m. London, April 18. • A large number 'of ex-service' men from all parts of the country marched la a procession from the Embankment to Byde Park, where speeches were delivered from twenty platforms. A resolution was passed calling on the Government to secure employment for •11 disabled men, to provide adequate facilities for their training, to grant equitable war gratuities, and to increase the pre-war pensions. Mr. Trevalyn, a member of the executive of the Discharged Soldiers' Federation, threatened that the unions would picket Dover and Folkestone and stop louring parties to the graves of fallen soldiers in France. The tourists were IWinly profiteers, who had fattened on the biood of the soldiers and the hardships of their families.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable lain.
