'A QUESTION OP WARRANTY. The hearing of the case of Hughes .and Cochran v. Steen and Wilfred SorenIsen, in which plaintiffs claimed £IIG in respect of certain cows purchased from defendants, as •bein f ; in calf, and which it was alleged were not in calf, was continued before Mr. T. A. Q.' Bailey, S.M., yesterday, at New Plymouth. In the additional evidence given *-t>r the defence a suggestion was made that the cows which had not calved had aborted without the knowledge of the plaintiffs. After hearing counsel*' addresses the Magistrate reserved his decision.
