PUNGAREHU. Tho opening of the Cape Ecmont Dairy Company's new general store at PungaTohu was celebrated on Wednesday last, by holding a sports picnic In tho Recreation flrn\inds. Tho sports were well managed, and everything wont smoothly from beginning to end. Full provision was also in ado for trivinp; the children a. good time, and in addition to tho sports, sweets were froely distributed. The officials carried out their duties with Vourtesy and efficiency, and liberal praise must be given the ladies, who were prom'nent In rendering invaluable assistance.
