Sessue Hayakawa, the celebrated Japanese actor, supported, by Jane Novak nnd Wallace McDonald, will be seen in his second release from his own studio, ■'His Debt," at Everybody's to-niglit and both sessions to-morrow. The story is the old, old story of the barrier of race, and the stern, unforgiving code of honor of the East. Jt is a drama of breathless beauty and tremendous power, and the leading role is entirely different to anything Hayakawa lias'before attempted. In "His Debt" he appears as a proprietor of a fashionable gambling saloon, and the story deals with his debt to a man who has attempted his life and a girl who has saved him. He discovers that they are betrothed, and the problem faces Him—which debt shall he repay? How he decides marks a truly astonishing climaxTHE PEOPLE'S. EMMY WHELEN IN "WHEN A WOMAN LOVES."

Emmy Whelen, the popular 6tar of numerous big Metro successes, scored another triumph at The People's last night in the five-reel feature ''When A Woman Loves." The picture has a good gripping plot especially attractive to the fair sex and the producers have spared no expense in the lavishuess of the whole production. The supporting pictures include a Billy West comedy, "The Rogue," and topical budget. The final screening takes places to-night. COMIKO TO-MORROW. A BIG DETECTIVE PLAY. The world's greatest living detective, William J. Burns, stars to-morrow anil Monday in "The Five-Million Counterfeiting Plot,'' a picture adapted from the most sensational detective that has ever occurred in the United States.
