THE PEOPLE'S. EMMY WHELEN IN "WHEN' A WOMAN LOVES." Commencing a two-night season at The People's to-night- the popular Metro star, Emmy Whelen, will star m the nve-reel feature "When a Woman Loves." It is a story of gay life, wealth and poverty, with one girl taking the family responsibilities on her frail shoulders and another seeking the primrose path of least resistance. How a remarkable series of circumstances drag the good girl into touch with her sister's' companions and her final escape through a young attorney and Cupid provides a story that never allows the interest to wander for one moment the picture is screening. The supports include a two-reel Billy West comedy, "The Bogue," and the Topical Budget.
